Speech Title and Abstract
Advanced Energy-Saving and Improvement Methods for the Refrigerant Side and Water Side of Chilled Water Systems
During my role as Energy-Saving Consultant at NCKU Sustainable Development Center, I surveyed over 40 high-tech factories and found issues such as design flaws, aging systems, limited adoption of new technologies, and financial barriers.
To address this, I introduced advanced solutions for both refrigerant and water sides of chilled water
systems, and proposed a model to help companies with limited budgets achieve low-carbon improvements.
With rising risks of power shortages, carbon fees, and climate change, energy efficiency has become a critical challenge for the high-tech industry. This presentation is to introduce the advanced technologies and ESCO business models can open new pathways toward sustainability for whole high-tech industry.
