Director Eddy Hung currently serves in the New Fab Engineering Division at TSMC. Since joining TSMC in 1997, he has driven the design, construction, and operation of TSMC‘s new fabs. This includes two 8-inch fabs (Tainan Fab 6 and Shanghai Fab 10) and thirty 12-inch fabs across Taiwan (Hsinchu Fab 12/Fab 20, Taichung Fab 15A/B, Taichung Fab 25, Chiayi Advanced Packaging Fab 7, Tainan Fab 14A/Fab 18B, and Kaohsiung Fab 22), as well as overseas fabs in the United States, Japan and Germany. During this time, he also served as an Executive Director of the Taiwan High-Tech Facility Association (HTFA) from 2021 to 2023.

Prior to TSMC, he accumulated extensive engineering experience: first at Yuen Foong Yu (1988–1993), managing electrical and instrumentation & control (I&C) systems for paper mills and co-generation plants; then at CECI (1993–1995), designing electrical, I&C, and fire protection systems for major infrastructure and industrial plants; and later at Tun Yun Textile (1995–1997), focusing on RIP (Refuse Incineration Plant) project planning and bidding.
