Speech Title and Abstract

Building an AI-Ready Data Center: How OT Networking and Security Reshape Operational Resilience

With the rapid growth of AI and high-performance computing (HPC), data center challenges extend beyond computing power to ensuring that power, cooling, and facility systems can operate reliably under high-density workloads. While traditional data centers have focused primarily on IT infrastructure, operational stability in the AI era increasingly depends on OT systems such as power, environmental control, and facility equipment. This session introduces the concept of an AI-Ready Data Center, exploring how secure OT communications, cybersecurity visibility, and industrial wireless networks can transform isolated facility systems into real-time, data-driven operational assets. By integrating OT networks, facility data, and AI analytics, data centers can enhance operational visibility, improve predictive capabilities, and build a more resilient operational architecture. Through practical industry scenarios and architectural insights, this session will demonstrate how secure connectivity and OT cybersecurity can enable facility systems to become a critical foundation for AI-driven operations in next-generation data centers and high-tech facilities.
